Jamie's Web site is a neat calling card for her service. I particularly like
your process choices -- giving the slow modem owner something to look at while
the rest of the page loads, for example. Most Web site designers seem to think
that everybody has state of the art DSL or cable modem, and it's refreshing
to find a designer who knows the real world. You also have a knack at choosing
colors that are attractive without getting in the way of the information communication.
You are wise, I think, in your conservative use of black background and your
choice of color for the foreground copy. Your choice of font is another particular
factor: clarity, interest and detail without attracting undue attention from

for my own occasional clients -- especially when I need to nudge those who
